ATLANTA, GA — July 27, 2026 — The Federation of Haitian Chambers of Commerce (FHCC) is celebrating its first anniversary, marking one year since a group of visionary Haitian chamber leaders came together around a shared belief: that Haitian chambers of commerce, businesses, and economic leaders are stronger when they work together.
What began as a vision to foster greater collaboration among Haitian chambers has grown into a global network spanning six countries and 14 Haitian chambers of commerce within its first year.
“One year ago, our founders came together with a vision to build something greater than any one chamber or organization,” said Dr. Ronald Cetoute, Chairman of the Federation of Haitian Chambers of Commerce. “We believed that by working together, we could amplify our collective economic voice, create greater opportunities for our members, and build stronger connections between Haiti and the global Haitian diaspora.”
A Year of Milestones and Impact
During its inaugural year, the Federation focused on building the foundation for a stronger, more connected, and more economically engaged Haitian business ecosystem.
A Growing Global Network
The Federation has expanded its network to 14 Haitian chambers across six countries, creating new opportunities for collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and cross-border economic engagement.
To strengthen connections across this growing network, FHCC launched a monthly virtual meetup, providing entrepreneurs, professionals, business leaders, and community stakeholders with opportunities to connect with markets and members of the Haitian diaspora around the world.
First Trade Mission to Atlanta
In partnership with the Georgia Haitian-American Chamber of Commerce, the Federation hosted its first trade mission in Atlanta, bringing a delegation from Haiti to Georgia to explore business opportunities, build relationships, and connect with members of the Haitian-American business community.
The delegation also participated in the Go Global Conference, organized by the Atlanta Black Chambers in October 2025.
The trade mission represented an important step toward strengthening economic ties between Haiti and the Haitian diaspora while creating greater pathways for trade, investment, and business development.
Launch of the Chamber Start Initiative
Recognizing the important role chambers play in supporting businesses and strengthening local economies, the Federation launched the Chamber Start Initiative, a program designed to help communities establish, formalize, and strengthen Haitian chambers of commerce.
Through this initiative, the Federation has supported the launch of the Jacksonville Greater Haitian-American Chamber of Commerce in Florida and helped establish the South Carolina Haitian American Chamber of Commerce, the first Haitian chamber of commerce in the state.
The Federation is also supporting efforts to launch a Haitian chamber in Ohio.

Key Partnerships
Throughout its first year, the Federation has also focused on establishing strategic partnerships that expand opportunities for Haitian businesses, entrepreneurs, chambers, and communities.
A key partnership with The Haitian Times has helped amplify the voices, accomplishments, and opportunities of Haitian organizations and businesses to a broader audience. The Federation has also established a formal partnership with Haiti Business Accelerator, an organization dedicated to fostering economic growth in Haiti by connecting startups and entrepreneurs with resources, mentorship, and capital to help them scale and sustain their businesses.
In early 2026, the Federation established partnerships with institutions including Clark Atlanta University’s School of Business for World Cup activations further strengthening its commitment to economic development, education, and opportunity creation for the Haitian community.
The Federation also played a role in developing a major partnership between The Haitian Times, the Federation of Haitian Chambers of Commerce, and Dave & Buster’s during the 2026 FIFA World Cup season, as Haiti returned to the world stage. The partnership brought together organizations to host World Cup watch parties across multiple states, including Georgia, Pennsylvania, Florida, Ohio, Indiana, Colorado, and South Carolina. As part of the initiative, Dave & Buster’s committed to donating 20% of proceeds from participating local watch parties to local Haitian chambers of commerce or Haitian-led organizations.
These partnerships reflect FHCC’s broader commitment to building bridges between Haitian businesses, institutions, corporations, chambers of commerce, and the global Haitian diaspora.
Building the Future of Haitian Chambers
As the Federation enters its second year, it is focused on strengthening the foundation it has built and expanding its impact. A key priority moving forward will be the development of greater standards, systems, and best practices for Haitian chambers of commerce—while recognizing that every community has its own unique needs, opportunities, and priorities.
The Federation is working toward creating a clearer framework for what it means to build, operate, and grow a Haitian chamber of commerce, while providing the resources, support, and connections necessary for chambers to succeed.
“Year one was about coming together and building the foundation,” said Dr. Cetoute. “The next chapter is about strengthening our institutions, expanding our impact, and creating systems that allow Haitian chambers and businesses around the world to thrive.”
